Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the sugar-butter mixture, beating until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
